Welcome to RedOwl 3D (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, services, and any related transactions. By using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Services Provided

RedOwl 3D offers:

  • Custom 3D printing services

  • 3D design and prototyping

  • Design for manufacture consulting

  • Related support services

All services are subject to availability and technical feasibility.

2. Orders and Quotes

  • Quotes are based on the files, specifications, and information you provide.

  • Final pricing may change if modifications are required (e.g., material changes, additional design time).

  • Quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.

  • We reserve the right to decline any order at our discretion.

3. Payment Terms

  • Full payment (or a deposit, if specified) is required before work begins.

  • Accepted payment methods: Credit card, e-transfer, cheque, deposit. 

  • Late payments may result in delayed delivery or cancellation of services.

4. Customer Responsibilities

By submitting files or requesting services, you confirm that:

  • You have the necessary rights, licenses, and permissions to use, reproduce, and manufacture the designs provided.

  • Your files and projects do not infringe on third-party intellectual property rights, copyrights, or patents.

  • You are solely responsible for ensuring that any required licenses or approvals have been obtained.

  • Your content does not contain harmful, unlawful, or restricted material.

5. Intellectual Property

  • Any designs created by you remain your property.

  • Designs created by RedOwl 3D under a client project may remain the property of RedOwl 3D until full payment is received.

  • RedOwl 3D assumes no responsibility for verifying the intellectual-property rights of customer-submitted designs; this responsibility rests entirely with the customer.

  • Unless otherwise agreed in writing, we retain the right to showcase non-confidential projects in our portfolio or marketing.

6. File Uploads & Security

  • You are responsible for ensuring that any files uploaded are free from viruses or malicious code.

  • We may scan files for safety, but we are not liable for damages arising from uploaded content.

7. Lead Times and Delivery

  • Estimated completion times are provided but not guaranteed.

  • Shipping, if applicable, will be billed separately and subject to carrier terms.

  • RedOwl 3D is not responsible for delays outside our control (e.g., courier issues, supply shortages).

8. Returns, Refunds, and Reprints

  • Due to the custom nature of 3D printing, all sales are generally final.

  • We will do our best to identify potential design issues (such as thin walls, weak geometry, or poor file quality) and, where possible, suggest corrections before printing.

  • If a print is defective due to our process, we will reprint the order at no additional cost.

  • If the customer is not satisfied with the reprint, we may, at our discretion, offer a partial or full refund depending on the circumstances.

  • We are not responsible for issues that arise from fundamental design limitations of customer-provided files unless these were explicitly agreed to be corrected as part of a design service.

9. Limitation of Liability

  • Our services are provided “as is.”

  • RedOwl 3D is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to lost profits or business interruption.

  • Our liability will not exceed the total amount paid for the specific order in question.

10. Confidentiality & Customer Information

  • RedOwl 3D will not share, sell, or disclose your designs, files, or personal information to third parties, except as required by law.

  • Customer files and order details are stored securely and retained for a limited period to support reprints or customer service.

  • You may request deletion of your files and information at any time, and we will comply promptly.

  • If required, we are open to signing a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) for design projects.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [Province/State, Country]. Any disputes will be handled in the courts of [Jurisdiction].

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services after updates constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
